When is the Hytale release date?
Early Access begins on January 13, 2026 with pre-orders available starting December 13, 2025. Multiplayer and server hosting support will be available from day one.
Was Hytale canceled and revived?
Yes. Hytale was canceled by Riot Games on June 23, 2025. The project was revived on November 17, 2025 after Simon Collins-Laflamme repurchased the IP and reassembled many of the original developers.
Who is developing Hytale now?
Hytale is now developed independently by Hypixel founders Simon Collins-Laflamme and Philippe Touchette, supported by a team of 30+ returning developers including original technical leads.
